Hi Jen and Joy It only takes a phrase to trigger a song doesn't it! I suppose that Band of Gold was my 'era'. I tend to remeber the old songs much better than anything later. I suppose it's because they trigger good memories of what was happening when the song was being played, so they're............. 'All thats left of the dreams I hold.............' Mandy

Hi Jen, I remember that song it was played to death way back when, but not only is there a Rainbow song called 'Since You've been gone' there's a Jamaican song with the same title sung and written by the Bluesbusters, there was also a Fine Young Cannibals song by the same name, could get very confusing. Anyway I remember the one you mentioned really well. It's probably not quite right - I will drag the tape out tomorrow and have a listen - this was off the top of my head. If enough people remember bits and pieces you should, in theory, be able to piece the whole thing together. Don't know a lyric site, but have you tried Google for searching for one? Kaye x

Hiya, I tried to get the lyrics (and poss guitar chords) to this Rainbow song twice but I got trojanned (is that a verb lol?). Please does anyone know a safe lyric site OR know the words themselves (I know the first few lines). Thanks for reading this. :-))) Jen
