My hubby is seriously thinking of changing from the british Army to the Australian Army his reasons I don't know!! But failing that we would seriously be considering moving over when he leaves.. Thanks Susie x

Thanks Paul, We are going to have a good chat about it as we have nothing in U.K that is appealing to us after I have gone to university to do my midwifery...That is the reason why I would like to leave Germany as I want to get studying!! Susie xx

Hi Pink, best thing we ever did, and I got here because I am a hairdresser. My husband came as my spouse although he is an engineer. At the moment there is a shortage of skilled workers in Australia so now is a good time to try. The last I heard the cut off age was 45, and you can only get sponsership from an employer or relative. But remember, when you arrive, that they can lack a sense of humour. On the immigration form is a question 'Do you have any criminal convictions' They frown on the reply 'Sorry, I didn't know I still needed one' Peter
