Hi all big storm hit PERTH 6.30am monday our street was hit by a mini tornado, lucky we are safe and no damage to our house, ripped up trees we live opposite a park, power poles and wire all down across the street so much damage around Perth they did not come to cut power till 2.30 pm. we have been without power until 1 hour ago(three and a half days), they brought crews from the country, it has taken them 12 hours to fix our power, they did agreat job. It is some think I hope I never have to live though again the noise and thunder and lighting, and disbelive after looking out side at the sight and it was pouring with rain, we have lived off the barbie , candles and torches for light, going to have a nice long hot shower soon, our family and friends have been great and all the street pulled together (like war time) Annabel

Lindy damage was mainly southern suburbs of Perth and Bunbury was badly hit, and not having tv can not tell you about Rockingham, seems I can not have my shower, water heater not working. Annabel

Hi there, I live in the Rockingham area and we didn't have any problems here, not in the suburb that I live in anyway. We have some very big trees in the garden and I always worry when there is a storm, we have been advised to have them lopped to roof height. Lorraine in W.A.
