Found the perfect present for the Mum who has ever

My Mum is becoming increasingly difficult to buy for as she really does have everything she wants. I found the perfect thing for her on that well known auction site. For around £20 you can buy a square foot of land in Scotland that gives the owner the title of laird. The vendor specifies that this is only a fun present and not to be taken seriously but you can have the lord or lady equivalent title put on your driving licence, passport etc. Practicing my curtsey aleady and it will give my Mum a bit of a laugh at my Dad who is convinced he has been robbed of his rightful place as heir to the throne. Well worth the cash.

It'll be good for the novelty and sentimental value. Make sure her 'title' doesn't go to her head! :-)

Sounds fun - get it - I know I would love it and my dau. complains of the same thing! Ann

She guessed what the present is - mind like a radar - and can be heard muttering 'Lady Linda' under her breath at regular intervals. I think I may have created a monster. Method in my madness though - the square foot of land can be bequeathed as can the 'play' title. Now - 'Lady Bendy' - hmmmmmmmm.
