I have joined a gym (following yesterday's outburst) as I have 5 stone to lose (aaarrrgggghhhhhh!!!!!). Tonight I am having a fitness test and am so scared. I am going alone which is a first for me as usually won't go anywhere on my own in case people laugh at me or won't talk to me so please everyone wish me luck. Julie xxx |

Loads of luck Julie. It's really not as scary as you think. I need to lose 5 stone too and the gym where I live isn't full of skinny babes as you imagine it will be. I'll be thinking of you and I might even go too!! Sarah xx |

good luck...but dont be worried bout the fitness test, the people who work there would have seen a million people do the test, they are there to help you, not judge! my mum was dreading hers, but the people at her gym were brilliant...good luck! im sure you will enjoy it! XXX |

Good Luck Julie - don't worry about other people, they'll be much too involved in their own progress to laugh or judge - just give a big smile and go for it! |

Julie, good luck. Don't panic at the amount you want to lose. Just do it a pound at a time. Every pound is progress Paul |

Best of luck, Julie. Remember, though, that excess weight does not materialise out of thin air but has been eaten or imbibed. Exercise must be coupled with sensible eating. love len |
