I live with my husband and son, who although i've tried teaching them how to do this difficult task, its just beyond them. And i like the paper coming down the back and not in front. |

Do you ever get a 2-ply roll where the perforations are not opposite? The remedy for this is to separate the two plys and lift the top one up and round the entire roll. They will now be opposite. This was on Blue Peter! Janet |

What makes me laugh is my hubby can fix anything that is broken, but can't put a toilet roll on. |

I am a single Dad of ten, five girls and five boys, from 17yrs down to 5 yrs. The best method I have found for ensuring that the toilet paper is replaced on the holder the correct method is to have the paper stored in the bathroom cabinet out of reach, this method teaches one to be collective in ones thinking and to plan ahead for this type of forward movement.Secondly if the person requiring the toilet paper has to get off the toilet to get a new roll, they generally only attempt this precarious move the once as anyone with this valuable experience will know.Thirdly the person asking for someone to please hand them in another roll automatically declares themselves as being the official toilet roll fitter and their is a wittness as to wether they have fitted the roll the most effective method, which is with the toilet paper hanging to the rear, via this method if the operator has any unmentionables on their fingers it will not be tranferred to 3rd or 4th sheet of paper on the roll as has been my experience that the small ones seldom get anything on their thum |

well Alexander that was all very profound for this time in the morning - I thought I was the only one still on these boards tonight. Glad to see you are training the kids right. How will you get up for the school run though if you stay up on here? I'm lucky - I can sleep in. Am off now so goodnight. |
