Well nearly - my friend's husband came for a meal tonight, Linda died in Spain in Feb and he comes to us regularly. Offered apple pie and custard but both he and my husband were full up. He left about half an hour ago and I cut a large piece of the apple pie for him to take home - only to discover it was CHICKEN! That's his dinner sorted for tomorrow. My fault entirely - I baked the pie, I put it in the freezer and labelled it - must check the pies marked 'apple' now. Is this senility kicking in???? At least we all had a good laugh and I guess I won't be allowed to forget this boob! Ann

Had it reached the custard without my noticing - neither he nor my husband would have been polite in spite of the wine and whiskey they had had!!!!!!! Ann

Don't love husband anymore - he has gone to bed saying he cannot wait to tell his friends at the golf club about my 'apple' pie. Ann
