How did I become so addicted to this board?????? I just came to have a quick look. Now I cant wait to have a shower , turn on the PC and see who's still up on the other side of the world! Even though a lot of you are obviously more familiar with each other, I find myself spending hours here, and get a real kick when someone actually answers something I put on here. Am I just a sad person? |

Hi Jenny, I have used Genes family tree etc. for about six months but it has only been this week that I have discovered how addictive this page is. It has given us a lot of amusement and information. Like you I get a kick out of contacting people all over the place( some of them even have the same interests as me.) Long may it continue. Mick |

Jenny, Hi, yes I am hooked - I think I am just so nosey - I like to know what other people the world over are doing and share their highs and lows with them and I have learned a lot too since I have been on here. We are obviously all very knowledgeable, caring people - just nosey with it. Where in N.Z. are you? - I have been trying to track down an old flame who is a Kiwi. He came from Rotorua but lived in London when I knew him - was a diver for an oil company. |

My problem is that I dont get up till late as I work shifts, so I have all day to spend on here with no one to disturb me! I dash in and out to put out the washing etc. and cant wait to get back again! I guess there are worse addictions and everyone on here is so nice , it restores my faith in human nature . |

Hi Jenny, don't know if Bryan is back in N.Z. I haven't heard from him since 1979!!! We both moved house at the same time, him to Little Venice in London and me in Norwich and that was it. We had been seeing each other for around three years - every time he was back in England, he would contact me and I had postcards from exotic places where he was working. He would be around late 50's early 60's by now - I always wondered if he married or had kids. His surname was Thom(p)son - would be great to say Hi to him. If you can help I would be very pleased. Thanks for offering. Liz |
