Old PCs and other items can be recycled by Computer Aid International and sent to schools, community projects and other not-for-profit organisations in 90 countries where computers are rare. Computer Aid undertakes all data will be wiped from hard discs so there's no worry about security. See www(.)bridgethedigitaldevide(.)com - remove brackets. Len |

I have a collection of hard drives........ I have on my PC a 'removable drawer'which would carry a second hard drive. I am currently running XP is there a way to configure these spare drives so that I can access the info on them? |

Dave Your PC brings to mind the old story of the woodman and his axe. It had had 10 new hafts and 5 new heads but was still the same axe as his father had before him. Len |

Several years ago, our old computers went to the Art Department of the University where our son studied. They were dismantled, and the parts used to make models of spacecraft, buildings, etc. Good to see them being put to better use, Len. CB >|< |

Thanks Len! I have all sorts of equipment left here by son (who now lives over the pond), will try both sites you recommend. Poor Sioux - he reminds me of those old men who stand tutting as they watch someone struggling to park! Get a Life, I say..... Lily |
