i was about to become professional footballer, got a bad knee injury and was told to give it up, i was only 17 and took the doctors advice, many a time i wish i had kept playing and gone for the operation but in those days (60's) the operation was not always a success leaving you with a bad knee

My Wife and I got a divorce in 1982, I lost contact with her after that but never stopped loving her, I started a new life but i was never happy, I never stopped looking for her the only thing that came out of us being apart was having my 2 sons. now we are back together after 23 years and I am the happiest man alive and iam very lucky. I should never have let her go in the 1st place

I always wanted to go in the Police Force, but in the 60's policewomen did not really do the same jobs as the men and did all the soft options. I wanted to do all the stuff they do now. Just born too early lol Linda
