I still think the best one ever was the one done on That's Life years ago when they were at London Zoo with a new animal they'd rescued called a LIRPA LOOF :-))) Anyone remember it??? It was someone dressed up in a furry animal costume and it copied everything that the people watching it did!!! Had me fooled for ages but I was only about 8 at the time!! |

Couple of years ago, there was a spoof about school starting hours being the same as on the continent, something like a 7am start....... Another year, it was that they were waiting for the space shuttle to make an emergency landing at Alconbury....... |

LOL - I remember the Lirpa Loof - it had purple poo!!!!! Another good one a few years ago was radio station Southern FM announced that a French company had made a lifesize, polystyrene replica of the Titanic and it was going through the English Channel but could be seen from beachy head. Thousands went along to see it!!! Roads were blocked, traffic jams, police had to close roads - police were not amused and the radio station soon had to put everyone right!! Classic. Kxx |
