I love GR because as well as finding out my family history..... .I have found cousins ~~~~ and kept in touch with them.......(Important as i'm an only child) I have made new friends via GR~~~~~ you know who you are. I have laughed, I have cried, over threads on here, I have had a shoulder to cry on, and advice given when needed. I enjoy being part of this online community, with it's rich tapestry of members. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Thank you Genes Team for keeping our site running, despite negative remarks Elaine x :o)) |

I will add the same reply I posted on another thread: No complaints from me. I get far more from this site than I ever expected when I first joined nearly 2 and a half years ago. I have gained family and friends for which no value can be placed. I have met some lovely people and chatted with many who have made me laugh, cry and at times have provided a good 'debate'. GR themselves have always been fair in their responses to queries, suggestions and even complaints. The changes to the site over the last 2 years have been many and although at times they take time to adjust to, they have on the whole been for the benefit for all those whose use the site. Maybe each change is not to everyone's liking, but what in life pleases all who use a facility or a service. So far from complaining to GR, congratulations and well done. Jacky :-) |
