How lovely for you Sandra and how nice of David and Lisa to include you so soon after James' birth. My youngest grandson is now 5 (going on 25) and won't even give me a cuddle anymore. sob, sob. Enjoy. Jean x. |

I must admit i am so lucky to have 5 lovely children, and 5 grandchildren i have grandaughter Katie 13 months 3 days a week and have done since she was 6 weeks, while tash, & mark work. David lives in the same street as me, and he and Lisa are just great, i fed & changed him at 1 day old, and now this evening to get to bath him at 3 days, is just amazing. and i have lisa's 3 other children 14 12 and 7 as lovely step grandchildren, and its so nice to be asked advice. David is 10 years younger than lisa, and he is just being brilliant these last few days, he has done everything in the house and is making her rest, and even does the night feed. I am so proud of all of them sandra |

Ooooooh Sandra I'm sooo jealous :o) I love the smell of freshly bathed babies! I want another grandchild! Jean - I sympathise with you. My youngest grandchild (the only boy) is just 6 and thinks hugging and kissing Grandma is for girls! LOL Mind you he did stay the night last Saturday and wanted me to lay down in bed with him and cuddle him to sleep. :o) Sue xx |

Sue, How lovely. My one won't stay overnight with me. Says he would miss his Mum too much. This, despite the fact that I looked after him 3 days a week for 4 years before he went to school. Never mind I have the lovely memories. Jean x. |

Hi Sandra, how I envy you having your grandchildren so close, I have Georgie 2 who is 30 miles away, and Lauren 5 who is 150 miles away, so it's lovely to hear what you are doing with baby James. Love, Belle green with envy. |
