WHAT ARE DELL COMPUTERS LIKE AND IS THE AFTER SALES OK.DOES ANYONE KNOW.WOULD BE PLEASED WITH YOUR ADVICE.

We have just taken delivery of a Dell Dimension 5000 - it's very fast and just a little bit above my comprehension - lol Not a computer buff, but it looks good, and matches the decor - what else can I tell you??? Jacqui

Hi Peter My husband is the IT Project Consultant for a major international company .. and they use Dell computers. He recommends them highly. Mandy :) PS: he also said buy direct from Dell's website

Know nothing about computers but using a DELL laptop and if I can anyone can...........does everything I want it to....what more can I say.....

Hi Peter, I have Dell at work and home. Delivery very quick after sales cant be faulted, they talk you thru a fault and if not fixable they send new part straight out and collect faulty bit. Regards Peter. p.s. any more council letters? they were brill.

We've had our Dell computer for a couple of years. We bought it on line. Very pleased with their sales 'service'. Can't tell you about after sales service because there has never been anything wrong with it. No problems at all. You watch - now I've said that the darn thing will go wrong! LOL Magsxx

My puter is a Dell and I have had no problems with it. When I first got it they gave me a number to ring for assistance and told me that they would help in anyway they could...I have had occasions when I rang them ( stupid things you ask when you are new to a PC ) and they were very helpful. I bought my Dell Dimensions in 1998. Have no idea what the 'help' service is like as I have never had to call on them. I upgraded the memory once and they were very speedy, efficient and helpful. I am now contemplating buying a new model and would not dream of having anything other than a Dell, especially when I hear all the tales of woe from friends who have dealt with the likes of ...... better not name these well-known dealers whose adverts are constantly under our noses. Had this one ten years and never a problem (says she touching wood). got another about this time last year - brill. service by phone and by website. Ask for jackie..........she is extremely helpful.

Hi Peter, We have had our new Dell computer for about a week now and its great.Alot smaller than previous comp.We got ours in the special offer they are offering at the moment. Haven`t had any complaints yet!!!xxxx

Two of the computers in the learning centre I manage/coordinate are dell they are miles better than the others. I did want a Dell Lap top but bought this IBM (seacond hand) as it was such a good offer. Malc
