I got my tree up to date after 4 months on the site....just shows you what you can do when you manage to escape the clutches of the threads for a while lol I guess there are a lot of members working on the site on a Sunday evening though, it's running frustratingly slow, or is it just me? |

Must be a day for 'housekeeping' with us researchers. I been having lots of trouble today with slow site. Downloaded my old file and uploaded new GED - it took foreveeerrrrr. Worst of all though I've been clearing out old e-mails and contacts, thinking I'm doing the right thing and not blocking up the site but it's such a laborious job on this site. Can't read all your e-mails in a list and delete as you go, have to do one at a time. And, every time you delete a contact instead of taking you back to where you left off the site returns you to page 1 - how boring and archaic. Ah well, done now and I've had my moan. Sorry 'bout that. Jan |

Oh Paul, such memories. When we were children, we used to come to stay with Great Aunt and Uncle in Billingham. Always used to know when we were near. Smelly Haverton Hill. Incidentally Paul. Can you remember some years back, in Middlesborough, a chap building a boat in his back garden and a great big crane had to come and winch it over the rooftop? Jenny x |

Hi Jenny, yes I remember that boat, it was in a garden of a house behind the Palladium shops, I watched it being built over the years, i always wondered how he was going to move it..lol |

It was built by a Mr A Bunn. Mum's cousin. I am still in contact with him. Had some lovely times with the family. Wont put the name of the street on here. But it must be the same one. Never ever thought I would end up living up here and married to a Geordie. Jenny x |
