I can remember being three years old in a cot..... I had a yellow teddy that wore a yellow 'bunny wool' frock.....I used to call it....my woweee!...(dont ask) lol Gerri x |

Seeing my baby brother being washed by someone in nurse's uniform. I think it must have been shortly after he was born and she must have been the midwife, but my mother doesn't recall the midwife washing him. I know he must have been fairly new as he was red and wrinkled and I thought he wasn't particularly interesting - he was also crying. I would have been 2 years and 9 months old. nell |

Like Nell, the big event in my life was my brother's birth. Being chucked out of my bedroom and having to sleep in a cot, hiding under said cot to watch the procession of nurses and midwives, but.... My first memory is of a woman with a white upholstered bust, lots of white tiles.... my first journey by car ended in a public lavatory, being mopped up after getting carsick. B What worries me is the question of my latest memory. Yesterday I had to play easter egg hunts with my neice. We could not find the last egg. Eventually we discovered that I had hidden it under the doormat, with inevitable results! |
