Mazzie you're a marvel as usual. About coats of arms though Sarah, I remember reading a thread on a board some time ago that said just because you find a CofA that matches your name does not mean it's yours and you do not necessarily have the right to use it. Unfortunately can't remember who gave that advice. You may find it using the Search box. Jan |

Thanks for the link. I have copied and pasted it into the address bar. It came up with coat of arms and surname goods to buy. That’s not what I wanted. So I have just telephoned the number off that website 'familycrests.biz', because I cannot locate the info that you were able to supply, they said they don't have a free name register or free information on their site, everything is purchase only. So I will keep searching, but thanks again for your help and advice, and yes I do appreciate your help. Thank you |

That site is not about free mugs and keyrings!!!! It is about the meaning of your surname, where the name originates from and the family crest that fgoes with that name!!! |

Hi all, I am a newbie to this forum, so be gentle with me ;-) I'm looking for a good and honest website that could tell me the meanings or origins of my tree surnames. Also true coats of arms. Any info would be great, thanks. |
