I want to go on a gap year thing, China is one of the places on my list. Unfortunately the person I am supposed to be going with, I haven't heard from in a while... anyway I was wondering, if I fly to Shanghai, how far is the Great Wall from here? Easily accessible? What other sites are worth going to see in China? Chloe |

Chloe My daughter flew to Shanghai in January for a holiday. Whilst there she got the overnight train to Bejing, cost approx £30 first class, where she visited The Great Wall. A couple of years ago she took a travelbag tour which lasted 3 weeks from Hong Kong to Bejing. She made some good friends on that trip as she was travelling on her own. Win |
