I saw G4 sing Bohemian Rhapsody live unaccompanied at the NEC in Birmingham at Jasper Carrotts Christmas Cracker. There was 13,000 people there and I can assure you that they didnt agree with the things that are being said on this board. They were fantastic and got a 5 minute standing ovation. Geez, I didn't think anybody would be that stupid to try covering it again. I've only heard one band try and cover it and they promptly sunk, it's suicide. While my appreciation for the song has dimmed in recent years due to constant over exposure of it, the fact remains that it's such a definitive song, that any other version of it is surplus to requirements. |
