I saw G4 sing Bohemian Rhapsody live unaccompanied at the NEC in Birmingham at Jasper Carrotts Christmas Cracker. There was 13,000 people there and I can assure you that they didnt agree with the things that are being said on this board. They were fantastic and got a 5 minute standing ovation. I can assure you until you have seen them live you don't know what you are talking about Margaret

TOTP2 is usually the better programme, if only for a laugh at skinny ties, mullets and dodgy fashion in general.

In my opinion only two decent versions of 'You've Got a Friend'.....the first is Carole King's and the second is James Taylor's! I normally like McFly but that was lousey!!! Viv

Hello Andy! There is actually a BIG difference between McFly and Busted... I only want to marry ONE member of McFly whereas I wanted to marry TWO from busted (the two who don't wear makeup!) becx

<Bec waves at Andy> HELLO!!!! Didn't see TOTP... were McFly really that bad? Saw their Comic relief video last night and have to admit I had a few tears in my eyes... especially when the one I'm going to marry (forget his name!) is crying... Becx

Geez, I didn't think anybody would be that stupid to try covering it again. I've only heard one band try and cover it and they promptly sunk, it's suicide. While my appreciation for the song has dimmed in recent years due to constant over exposure of it, the fact remains that it's such a definitive song, that any other version of it is surplus to requirements.

It was Mcfly singing you got a friend or should i say killing it. Would not mind if they could sing,as for G4 they can sing opera and they should stick to it. Wendy

Haven't heard it, but why on earth would anyone attempt a cover of it? It's an impossible task! Daisy
