This is a new one on me... was looking through the Bowerchalke parish register last night and noticed that my one GGM had what was known as a ' Parliamentary Burial' pursuant to the Queen Victoria act or something like it. Been trying to find something out about this on the WWW but I can't find out exactly what this means. Does anyone know? |
