you could try multimap online,you can zoom in from county to any town ,and further ,to individual streets,it could be quite usful to you .Fred.ptfg.&a&g&s.

You can try www old-maps (co)(uk) replace the spaces with dots. Brenda

There is a web site that has alot of the old maps on it cant remember the name of it though try going through google,jeeves or even anscestory. Hope this helps. Malc

Hi. Does anyone know where I can get ahold of maps showing the counties of England, Ireland(N&S) and Scotland that also include the towns for each? Finding it hard to check census records etc. when I don't know quite which area I'm looking for. Any help would be great. Thanks. Margaret
