Deanna, They said as the Criticall Illness cover only covers something that isn't classed as rare which his is, he wont get anything. Basically they aren't worth the paper they're printed on. HTH Naomi x |

Deanna I don't think I can help much but I did watch it. I can't remember if they actually said what the diagnosis was for the vomiting blood as I think the man had several problems. All I would say is, if you know someone who is vomiting blood, there can be several reasons. Any of them need a doctor or hospital attention. Chrissie x |

I'm afraid nearly all Insurance Policies are like that, if that particular ailment was covered they'd probably try and get out of it by saying its an ACT of GOD! for which they are not responsible Len |

Len, Chrissie and, Naomi, Thank you all. My husband saw it and had all the same symptoms as that man before it happened to him( hubby) It was terrifying, believe me.He had a hole in his stomach. What worried him was, that the symptoms the man in the telly had never went and, it happened again. It is worrying me now. Deanna |

Susie, thank you. Allan also has problems with his lungs and many other problems, the same as that man. The doctor knows all about it. He was in hospital within 15mins of it happening. Its just that he feels the same things happening...as that man did...and me being me am worried. I thought perhaps if a diagnosis was mentioned on the telly I'd have a bit of, I dont know...power maybe! Sound like an idiot dont I, but it was very frightening? |

I found it Susie but, no advice about last night. Bit daft isnt it? I do indeed know how you must have worried. They say men wont go to the doctors but, on the whole they are not treated as sympathetically as women....unless something really dangerous happens. Hope your hubby is alright now and, thanks for your help. Deanna X |

deanna hubby is fine now aslong as he takes his aspirin and cholestral tabs lol its like having a baby back in the house again.if i dont give them to him he dont take them!!!! he had an angiogram on his heart last march and they discovered a large blockage. as they were wiggling the wire thingy around the artery ruptured! there was hubby asking if he could have some breakfast as he was hungry and the drs were dashing about calling the surgeon to come and do a quick repair job. he was bleeding from the main artery in his heart ,so they fitted a stent. daft b***er still wont do as he is told though and still eats choccy and cakes lol susie |
