Why do some people post messages and then never answer the replies particularly when you have given them permission to view your tree. A simple thank you but there is no connection would suffice.

oh a common problem I'm afraid. not just here, but in 'real life' too, good manners seem to be becoming a thing of the past

was talking to my wife about this at lunchtime - stood and held the door open whilst 4 or 5 people walked through, only one said thank you. It's not just the young ones either !

I suppose that if you were to email the offender and say, 'As you can't be bothered to say thank you, don't ask again' you would be accused of being a stroppy sod, a miserable git, and other things. Jim
