I've decided to limit myself to buying just one cert a month. But my inlaws have said they'll pay for certs for their side and my parents said they'll pay for certs for their side. So tonight I've ordered 3 certs for my mum's side!! Joanne

I am trying to find a death cert and thought with the unusual surname - Chowns - I'd got the right one. The reg. district was next door to the one I was expecting to find him in, so no great surprise - maybe he died with some relatives. Imagine my annoyance when it turns out this dead Chowns was a baby! He is probably a distant relation and I did feel sorry for his parents, but still... nell

Just sent off another cheque for a Marriage cert to find out whether William Langley Nephew or William Langley Uncle was the one who married Ellen Blanchard. Thank goodness so many are easily identified without the need for certs.
