How did you decide 'It'?

Can any of you remember the playground rhymes used when choosing who would be 'It' when playing Hide and Seek etc.......... My grandson tells me they just decide now.......So no more, ... 'Your shoes are dirty, please change them 'etc.?

my kids use ... 'ip dip doo, the cat's got the flu, the dog's got the chickenpox, out goes you...' I taught them this one, which they LOVE!!! 'ippa dippa dation, my operation, how many people at the station.... (insert a random number!) e.g. 3 .... 1, 2, 3, O U T spells out so out you must go...' Maz. XX big kid still
