The trick with burned cake is to slice the burned bits off and smother it in icing. Not that I'd know anything about that, I can't bake, won't bake. nell |

Emma, er sorry, Alfred, Are you using a fan-assisted oven by any chance? When I first got one, I didn't realise you had to lower the temperature on recipes by at least 10 degrees to prevent things burning. Just a thought. CB >|< X |
