I agree entirely with what you've written, but I'd like to add that I think there should be a GR Board presence throughout weekends, as that seems to be when the worst problems occur. Hi, A thought - Why don't all of us who feel concerned copy Jim's well phrased message and send it to GR? If enough people do so they may do something to protect us from the sad, the deranged and those who enjoy causing trouble. Gwynne

I am rather concerned about some of the Threads which have been posted recently concerning abusive and threatening messages sent via GR to members. I do not know who is responsible, nor do I need to. I would, however, like your assurance that anyone misusing the site in this way will be dealt with appropriately and swiftly. I appreciate that you quickly remove offensive threads, and hope that you will equally quickly remove the members who are causing the trouble. Thank you once again for providing a good site for Genealogical Research, and for friendship. Jim
