after watching the 100 tearjerkers last night and hearing humphrey bogart say to ingrid bergman we'll always have paris i added we'll always have blackpool to the message inside my wifes valentine card. it's where we met 25 years ago in the stanley arms i was showing everyone the toenail i ripped of playing beach football barefoot as anyone had a more romantic first meeting |

It,s fashionable to knock Blackpool, but it,s my favourite holiday place although we don,t stop in the centre. When I ask the grand-children where they want to go - they all come up with the appropriate answer. Happy days |

Oh dear, my husband and I would have to say 'we'll always have Eastcote'. Not a very romantic ring to it! nell |
