I wonder how they allocate numbers? is it random? I've been a member for a lot less than say Strump (no reason for choosing you, m'dear just know you were a friendly name when i joined) and yet my numbers lower? Jess x

Dave, How right you are and I hated my name. I used to curl up in embarrassment. Mainly called Snozzle. Children are so sensitive. Now I think it is a wonderful name (not too bad to research at all if only Grandad would come out of the closet). Off to Kew in a minute. Think Great Grandma was in prison (naughty girl) on 1881 census. Hope to find some record of her to confirm whether she is mine or not. Jean x.
