Mars bars, my elder daughter loves them as well ( I was pregnant with her) On the other side of the coin, so to speak, I went off coffee when I was pregnant (21 years ago). I have never liked it since. Dont mind the smell, but cant drink it. Margaret |

Oh yes. Red sauce. I had it on everything. Forget gravy, red sauce, Red sauce sandwiches. In fact just red sauce on its own. Never liked it before or after. |

Didn't have cravings but went off things instead. Couldn't stand the smell of coffee or anything fried. OK afterwards except never got back on to coffee. Janice |

I was first pregnant in Cyprus and ate healthy foods but craved a chip shop meat pie.- not a decent one, I was after the sort where the meat just dashes through the gravy. When we visited UK, still pregnant, and I could buy one, it wasn't nearly as good as I had imagined it would be. Gwyn |

Yes, I had an overwhelming craving - for SLEEP! I developed galloping high blood pressure while pregnant, and due to the incessant noise from a building site bang on our doorstep 6 a m till heaven knows when in the evening. It was an office block over a car showroom and a block of flats, where there had been just two large houses and large gardens when we moved there. I can only describe it as hell, and I ended up in hospital for most of the last 3 months before my son was born prematurely. The hospital experience was far from pleasant too, as the maternity unit was overcrowded. Fortunately he was OK, after being starved of oxygen during the birth and born bright blue. He's now 26. It took a further 5 years for my BP to go back to normal. Needless to say, my experience of pregnancy put me off having more children! I wouldn't wish those circumstances on anyone! Best wishes to you, Kylie CB >|< X |

Not so much a craving, but with my son, I often fancied a glass of coke with ice. Not Pepsi, no imitation, not out of a can, it had to be coke in a glass with ice. strange.... Elaine x |

Hi, Garlic, couldn't get enough of it. The product of the pregnancy also loves it. I also craved the smell of petrol. Gwynne |
