Just seen Tony B'liar on the News giving a talk at Gateshead. He said...wait for it....'When we make mistakes we say so.' I laughed til my teeth itched. |

We're just wondering whether the pensions crisis Brown created is going to get any worse as we approach retirement. So many people have been badly stung so far, there must be millions more quaking in their boots at the thought of being taxed to the hilt while they're working and shoved into poverty in their old age! OUT! OUT! OUT! CB >|< |

Sorry to be serious ! But I don't trust any of them...... people seem to forget that we had 17/18 years of Conservative. I don't think ANY of the parties represent the needs of the voters ( and after all they are meant !? to work for us !!! ) Andrea :o) I will add, that I don't mean to offend anyone one here, just my opinion :o) |

For Peter's information the Government spends 42% NET of the entire national income. Up from 38% over the last seven years. The GROSS figure (before knocking off what it returns in tax credits etc.) is far higher, well over 50%. Total taxation has increased by fifty percent under New Labour, from £385 billion to £525 billion. You obviously don't get much for a billion quid a day! |
