I had to renew my subscription yesturday for N A V. All had been fine until tonight. Got an error meassage saying ' N A V ' has encountered an internal program error, Uninstall and reinstall. I have done this and did the re- install scan. Now have another Error message telling me to do exactly the same, but there is a different number added. Can anyone advise please. Thanks Jenny.

I had exactly the same message, Uninstalled it and then could not find out how to re-instal it. I have installed AVG anti-virus instead. It came to me highly recommended.

Brian, thanks. I have got onto the Interactive site and have been one the freestuff link and downloads link. But cannot see anything about AVG. I can download it from Grisoft or Pcworld sites. But is it safe to download off any of these site as I have no protection whatsoever at the mo. Jenny.

Hiya Mommylonglegs, I had a problem a while ago with NAV,and found this solution on their site. This is to create an application rule, might work for you. Open NIV, Click on Personal Firewall Click Configure >Application scan. The Application Scan dialog box appears. Select the drives you want to scan, and click next. A status box shows the progress of the scan. When the scan is complete,a list of Internet-enabled applications appear. Click `Check All` Click `Finish` to create the rules. NOT saying that this will help, just that it did for me when I had a problem with IAMAPP.exe
