I was reading a copy of computer active magazine in 2003 and it had a feature on genealogy websites. I had also seen it in other magazines so I decided to give it a go. Lucia :-) |

Found it through FR and joined in July 2004. So glad I did, as I've rediscovered schoolfriends and family, as well as my ancestry. CB >|< |

Through Friends Reunited but I think I will give that a miss when my membership is through, mind you they have a chat thread on there now so I might try that out one day. Debs. |

I too found it via F.R. Thought this one seemed the better of the two,and joined, I am in my second year now. I wonder if they will give us a commission, seeing that we recommend so many people. trish xxx |

I found GC just by accident, looking for a Genealogy site that interested me. I joined first and watched for a long time, then decided to pay the money. :-)) Neil |

I read about Genes Connected when it first started, explored it but did not subscribe. About a year ago I read another article about it in a family history magazine and decided to subscribe for a year to Genes Connected. Joy |
