Just been reading a website about Charles Dickens and where he came across the name for his character...Ebenezer Scrooge! Apparantly he had been to a funeral and was wandering around looking at the gravestones. He came across one with the name Ebenezer Scroggie and decided to use it in his book with a little alteration!!! As Scroggie is my name on my dads side Im wondering if 'Scrooge' was a rellie.......going off some of them in my family I can well believe it!! LOL Bev
