Crocus bulbs (i wondered where they were)

I have just found in my greenhouse some crocus bulbs they are starting to shoot (i wondered why my window boxes had nothing coming up in them) would it be to late to plant them now . Thanks Margaret

I would say you have nothing to lose in trying, if they are shooting.

Margeret,stick them in ,they will be okay,just wait a week and watch them go.This is the time of year for me ,the garden starting to come alive again.Fred.ptfg.&a&g&s.

Linda The birds tend to eat my yellow crocus and the cats wont frighten them away because ive got a dog never see a cat in my garden Margaret xx

Margaret, I can't talk, as I recently found some Daffy bulbs, and Hyacinths, in the garden shed, and the poor things were starting to shoot. In fact, two of the Hyacinths had flowered in there over Christmas! Good luck! Oh - by the way, those of you who kindly gave me advice on the Daffs, some of them are now very happily getting ready to flower, whilst the others are growing in pots. Thanks! Glenys x

Yes, it's a lovely time I think; I automatically - if a bit prematurely- think 'winter's over!' so it cheers me up. That's a lovely way to remember your Dad, Linda, bet he'd be pleased about that. Glenys x
