I've lost count of the number of links I've had in the last two years, but having added everyone as I go, one thing leads to another and it snowballs. One particular name (Lazell) came up as my wife's great grandmother and led to contact with half a dozen people reseaching the same name. We have shared information and I now have a Lazell database with over 300 names. So put it on and share, you never know where it will lead. However, if anyone sees my grandmother, Hannah Jane Harris circa 1871 running around, PLEASE let me know.

I know what you mean about a further boost of energy when you find a link. I could do with one of those myself right now! It is amazing just how much more information you can find through just one link. In the eighteen months I have been a member of GR, I have managed three links, two on my Mother's side and one on my Fathers. Rosemary(Essex)

After 18 months of researching my tree and my first years membership running out I am pleased to announce that I have my first link.... Yee hah.. Its on my granny's side as we have been concentrating on that branch as her 90th birthday is coming up and we wanted loads done..... This gives me a boost of energy that I have been lacking for a while that things do eventually come to light and just to keep going..... This lady and my granny share the same Great Great Grandfather .... Does anyone know what that works out on how we are related ?? Happy searching to one and all... Mhairi
