For the woman to have made that story up ...... she needs help What is this world coming to? On one hand you have mothers who are desperate enough to want a baby they will kill another pregnant woman and snatch her baby from her womb. then you have those who don't want them and just literally throw them away!! I have just seen on the news that this story is in fact a hoax that was concocted by the woman who claims to have seen the baby thrown from the car. The baby was actually hers and she didn't want it, so made the story up. The baby is in good condition in the hospital. As Florida has the Safe Haven Law which permits a mother to leave an unwanted child at the hospital or fire station/police station within three days of the babys birth she didn't need to go to that extreme. Still, it is very sad that she felt the need to take this route. Teresa |

I think the poor little mite is better off without parents/family like that, lets hope he make a good recovery and is adopted by a loving family. The mother will surely need help soon, and maybe they can get to the real reason as to why she did it God bless the little lad Jan |

COUPLE THROW NEWLY-BORN BABY FROM CAR A newly-born baby is recovering in hospital after being thrown from a car by a couple. The boy - thought to be only one hour old - was inside a plastic bag. Police were seeking the parents of the boy, whose umbilical cord was still attached when he was thrown onto the verge of a busy road in North Lauderdale in Florida. The woman who rescued the baby said she saw a man and woman arguing inside the car before they sped off. The baby was taken to Broward General Medical Centre and treated for unspecified injuries. No information has been released on his identity. |
