have been told to employ more ethnic minority firefighters or face prosecution.what i cannot understand is that if ethnic minorities do not want to join the fire service what are they going to do then .still prosecute the fire servicexxxxx(: |

Presumably they will have to prove that they have made the effort to recruit. Show how they have tried to attract ethnic minorities. if they do this and no-one applies then they probably will be OK. Ann Glos |

its getting beyond a joke its time somebody stuck up for the brits. the ethnic minorities are taken by the hand you are frightend to sneeze in front of them in case you get done for giving them a cold |

it is true though.the hampshire fire service have no obligation to hunt around for ethnic firefighters.if they apply for the jobs then they should be given a fair chance.but the same happened in the police force aswell.get the numbers or your'll be in troublex(: |

marion i think the recruitment are forced into doing this through the goverments attitude.they believe that in the services their is discrimination which their probebly is but not in all.i agree he probebly did feel angry as he should get in for his ability to do the job.not because of goverment policiesxxxx(: |
