Kerry know that feeling too ((hugs)) Chin up poppet. If you hold on to it for a while you may find that although not the couple you wanted but they may fit into your family tree via another branch or twig. I've had this happen to me at least 5 times - so be positive and treat as a bit of the puzzle for a while until you can rule the family name out 100% Much happiness debi |

Its happened to me too, its so easy to get it wrong, now on the rare occasions that I order a certificate, i usually put something ( like the father's name, that will the registrar a clue) then you dont get the certificate and get charged a small fee for the search. June xx |

Was looking for a marriage for William Joseph Hayes in the london area, between 1960-1980. Someone said they would help and obviously it was wrong people. |

Today I got a marriage cert through the post from GRO. I sent for it as I know my Grandad married a Patricia in Kensington and the year they married, anyway turns out its the complete wrong couple. I`m so gutted and just don`t know where to go from here. I paid for a marriage cert that is no good to be and I`m still none the wiser. How could I get it so wrong =((( xxxx |
