My son has just jumped on my daughters bed and he broke it! Little s*%t bag!! Did anyone hear me scream?

I dont think a screwdriver will fix this problem!! He has snapped the wooden slats under the matress. Its well and truly knackerd!

Hey Em .... Back from my tea :) Don't worry hun, it is repairable .... my boys did the same thing to one of their beds last year (bunk beds now seperate singles) You need to get a couple of new pieces of wood to replace the broken slats. I got mine from a local builders merchants but you probably could get them from a big DIY store too. Have a look at the size you need. Should be about, 1'' x 3'' They'll even cut it to size if you ask sweetly. Just unscrew the broken bits and replace them with the new bits. Screw in place and hey presto, bed's fixed :) And the kids will be really impressed at their mums DIY skills :) .... and if you're as evil as me you'll make them feel guilty the whole time your fixing it >:} Mwwhahahaha Sioux

So thats what it was! I thought it was a low flying 747? it didnt half rattle my false teeth!!!!!!! Get them hammocks you just need a couple of hooks in the wall!! lol (.9 on the richter scale) Len

oh no emma my mum is inclined to do that.she done that when my hubby was in bed after we had been out on a drunken ramble.he was asleep.she crept up jumped on him and exactly the same thing happened the bed collapsed.it was hilariousxxxxxx(:

oh my god, your kids are like mine and i thought i was alone in this mad world, my kids have these type of bed, daughter claims she just sat on hers but shes only 8stone sumut, and 5ft 2, hubby has had to replace slats, we then noticed frame had split too, make um sleep on floor in a sleeping bag, lol lisa your mum sounds a laugh, would love to have seen your husbands face

Me too Len, but I started out with such a gentle voice (honestly!) and I've been left in my old age with a voice in 2 volumes.....low & HIGH! Deanna :O)
