Deanna, If you like. I think you'll find it's quite common when you go back to the 1800's and earlier to find families intermarryign several times (and cousins marrying). Paul

I've got a few like this with my wife's paternal and my maternal lines - they both came from the same village, and the same surnames crop up all the time

My partner Alan is decended from a Joseph Collins. Joseph married twice and had a son with his first wife, Oliver. Oliver had a son, who in turn had a son. Now this is where we bump, i think My dads brother (my uncle) had a daughter that I think married the son of the son's son! He ho, does that mean Alan and I are related (by marriage) and if so, what relation are we? ...and you wonder why i need a big piece of paper! Jess x
