When I first joined, and the system was slightly different, I got my own email address wrong. No problems accessing the site, but as Geoff says, there was nothing in my inbox! Mysteriously, some messages don't reach my inbox still. |

You get messages from people on here (which you see mentioned on '2 new messages' bit). It's just that you don't get an e-mail to tell you about them. I did it months ago. |

If you really don't want to keep getting them, just change your e-mail address in your GR account (miss off the first letter or something), BUT REMEMBER YOUR FALSE ADDRESS OR YOU WON'T BE ABLE TO LOG IN! Also remember that you won't get any e-mails or reminders from GR about anything. |

It is a nuisance when you are on GR and you delete your messages,then later you check your e.mail box and you have to go through deleting them all over again,specially if your not sure if you have any new ones and your backwards and forwards from GR to your in box, but sorry I dont know how to stop it. |

I dont think I understand, I always get a message in my inbox to tell me I have a message on here, so I delete that which is quite easy really. Then when I am ready to delete on here I would I cant see the big deal. |

I know what you mean Alison,it takes ages going backwards and forwards from inbox to GR inbox deleting messages in both let alone answering them.-Rose |

Hi, I don't think you can stop them - most people complain the GR don't let them know when they have messages. That's why I asked why you wanted to know. Gwynne |

in my hotmail i keep getting mail saying i have a msg on here whenever someone contacts me from here. can i stop this? |
