I have obtained details for my ggf having died in action during WW1 from CWGC. I'm not sure in the UK, but certainly in Australia, we can apply and receive their full service records as well. I have sent an email (cant recall the address) to find out if I am also able to purchase his service records but havent heard anything back....mostly because I am after his DOB and parents names if listed. Does anyone know if this is possible and have you tried it and whats the known process. Thanks in advance. Michelle |
