I am really pleased Mags-I have been after this branch of the family for ages.At last some parts of the jigsaw are falling into place.I found the Welsh branch of the family last year.Met up around Easter.They are a jolly lot-It will keep growing as a tree,THERE WERE THIRTEEN CHILDREN -ROSE

As most of you know from my ever increasing rants on the Trying to find board which got me nowhere,I have been trying to find the family of my grandfather's brother.Jethro Horatio Swaffield. A very kind member called Brenda took the trouble to find his military records at PRO and all has unfolded from there. Last night I had a lovely telephone conversation with his great-grandaughter and we will be able to fill in many of the gaps in our family research together. Her own father is my cousin. Does anyone understand how cousinry goes? My MOTHER AND HER GRANDFATHER WERE FIRST COUSINS. gLAD OF SOME HELP-rOSE
