EastEnders should be axed!!

I have been watching EastEnders for over 10 years and used to like it but it has just gone down the plughole, with ie, Patricks constant whingeing about who killed Paul, Zoe's constant moaning, and the lack of storylines. The bosses of the show are thinking of all these ways to try and save it, but they are just wasting their time. Axe the show, its the best way.

Is there anyone in East Enders who has a happy life for more than a few days? Gone on, I dare you to find one!

Benjamin, I don,t know about being axed - it should never have been grown in the first place. Good viewing(elsewhere)

It's the only soap I watch, and recently have patiently waited for another good story line. I feel I'm watching the same repeat throughout the week with Zoe wineing and Den running around after her. The producers have got rid of the good actors, like Dennis and Sharon and a few others and brought in all these 'no hopers' like the guy with the so called bad back and his thieving children and the other young one living with the Slaters. What message is that giving? Jo.

I prefer my Television to be Entertaining and Informative. Soaps are neither.

Maybe it is just me, but at least the people on Corrie are generally nice. Eastenders almost seems full of murdering theiving scumbags. Hardly a good example, and hardly what I would call entertainment. My wife still enjoys it. God knows why. I would rather watch a Simpsons re-run, or World at War for the 1,000th time..

Looking forward to Den going permanently! Waste of space imho! (Didn't watch it years ago when he was in it so don't know what he was like then.) If the scriptwriters would listen to me - shouldn't have killed off Jack Dalton - they would bring back Sharon and Dennis to run the pub together - bring back Kat and get her and Alfie together - get Little Mo and Billy back together - get rid of the Millers. Coronation Street at least has some humour sometimes in it ie Norris, Cilla (actress is completely different in real life); Chesney is really good. Having said that, haven't watched it for a while!!! Why stop at Eastenders? Get rid of ALL soaps. Then there may be something worth watching!

I agree that Eastenders is going downhill but then it is more watchable than the other soaps. I am still amazed how the houses seem to 'grow' in Albert Square...the Slater's one now accommodates Charlie, Mo, Little Mo and Freddie, Zoe and Stacey and Gary (?) and I bet they have all got their own bedrooms. Maybe they have tents in the garden-if there is one!

I'm glad Den is going. I didn't think bringing him back was a good idea in the first place although I like Chrissie (his wife) It is annoying that Zoe does nothing but moan. The only thing she'll ever be remember for is "You're not my Muvva!" Last nights episode was a bit like watching a 5 minute segment on constant loop. Chloe is coming back to Sonia & Martin. Her adoptive parents die. Naomi x

It's got to get better - next story line "Den gets done in by one of three women" Chrissie/Zoe or what's her name? the Mitchell bird. Anyway lets hope they all hammer the stake in and bury him under the Vic. Lin
