GENUKI have a very good site on all counties in Ireland. I have found lots of information about my family on this and the Irish Times site. Yes, I agree Irish roots are difficult, it is a very slow process, but my advice is to keep on trying! Good luck with your Co Mayo people. |

I agree about GENUKI - mailing lists / message boards for counties and surnames. Also cyndislist(.)com. My great-grandparents were married in County Mayo - Presbyterian Church, Turlough, Castlebar. Irish research is *not* easy at all! :) Joy |
