I agree there Kaz, When the politicians come to town it's concrete bollards blocking roads, security and armed police everywhere and all the local people living just outside of the main area praying they don't get burgled because if you dared to want some help you'd have to be very lucky to get any! from the hamlets to villages to towns they all wear them here in Northern Ireland. All the police stations are like fort knox, all barbered wire, cctv, gates. Most vehicles are armoured plated too lol!! Much happiness Debi

I've never seen armed police in my town before. Not much happens here, but once someone was murdered not far from my front door. Never see police in our town anyway, let alone armed. Lucia

Our local Police station,closes at 6 o`clock,then, the little darlin`s come out to `play`, and do you see the old bill,not on your life. They`re out chasing motorists,,,real criminals.

No armed police. Not very often any police. We have community wardens!!?? Not sure what they do. Supposed to walk the streets and ensure peace.
