Personally I loathe them, don't anyone buy me any as a sign of love (Daily Express). Val |

I have Christmas Cacti, several of them, but I also have one of the "prickly" ones. I homed this one after its former owner died, and have now had it for nearly 15 years. Last year it occurred to me to repot it, and it rewarded me by growing bigger. It seems a happy plant, and flowers every year. I suppose I love 'em! |

I've never had one. The only plant I have managed to keep alive is our Shamrock. I have killed abusy lizzie....nobody can kill a busy lizzie, said the friend who gave me it!!! I soon showed her. So yes I quite like cactti but too much to have one! Deanna |

I have xmas & easter cacti, october and one flowering right now, but these are not prickly. My gripe is with the prickly sort, mum in law houses one belonging to her son who lives overseas and its 54 yrs old growing very tall and had to be repotted recently as it grew top heavy. Val |

We have a prickly cacti at work and every time I go near it,it seems to throw it's needles at me. I hate the thing cos everytime a needle gets in my skin I have to go to doctor's for cream to stop my skin erupting in blisters. Hate them. Sue |
