If you register on the Walkers crisp web site you can get a free pedometer. Alledgedly if everyone walked 10,000 steps a day nobody would ever need to diet !

Margaret, i've been thinking of getting one, but I think I'd wear it out in a week lol....I deliver to 500 homes and it takes on average three hours, 15minutes to do the whole round, so i guess I cover a fair old distance Been doing the job 10 years now, i was 6'4" when i started, I'm now 5'8" lol

Ive got one but becarefull with it i was doing really well with mine but couldnt understand when checking it that it was nearly at the beginning again, eventually realising when bending down id been catching it and resetting it lo. So beware !!! but they are good things to see just how much you do exercise.

I bought one a few weeks ago. It certainly made me think about how little I had been walking. It was so beautiful here this morning that I walked the long way round to the shops and then using the maze of footpaths around here went the long way back in the other directionto make it a round walk. I was surprised it was only 2.24 miles. I must say I felt better for it though. Rosemary(Essex)

Just bought a Pedometer just to see how many steps and miles i do in the course of a day , also because i have not been getting my daily normal excersise due to a trapped nerve in the leg, has any one else tryed these, You are suppose to do 10000 steps a day mine today so far 4000 not very good at all Margaret
