Hi Jude You could try second hand shops/antique shops or charity shops as you can buy very cheap second hand tiles in all of them usually. Let us know how you get on! I am thinking about doing some mosaic round a mirror for my bathroom but will need to buy more bathroom tiles so that it matches. Lynne |

Jude, You could also try using some brightly coloured odd china plates etc. The edges would be reasonably flat. You would probably find some for pennies in the charity shops, or I have a fine collection of odd china in my cupboards!!! Elisabeth xx |

Elizabeth - yes please :o)) lol Lynne - l will:o)) at present l'm just messing around, but would like to make a Kitchen rail , you know the hall stands (standing or fixed), they are shaped wood with hooks on, well abit like that but with a towel rail instead of hooks (or simular) then meat hooks hanging from that, you can then hang saucepans etc from it, or on a lighter weight thing, hang mugs from it. In the book l'm using it uses plates, some of which are the old 60's style, bit retro:o) Have to find some polly filler now (for practise). Hubbies walking around thinking "gawd what next" lol jude sarf wales |
